0 Deaths, 83 Cases

WINNIPEG – The province is reporting no deaths today from COVID-19 because of a data reset.

There are 83 new cases of the virus, including 18 in Winnipeg. The case count in the north continues to be high at 53.

3,421 cases are active, 25,480 people have recovered, for a total of 29,733 cases so far.

254 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 36 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 7.6 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 4.1. 1,410 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 480,277 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 832.
