1 Death, 100 Cases

WINNIPEG – The province is reporting one death today from COVID-19. It’s a man in his 80’s in Winnipeg.

There are 100 new cases of the virus, including 44 in Winnipeg.

1,628 cases are active, 28,193 people have recovered, for a total of 30,687 cases so far.

230 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 28 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is five per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 3.8. 1,560 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 499,259 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 866.
