WINNIPEG – A 17 year-old youth has been charged with arson after setting fire to the inside of truck.

On November the 23rd at 1:15 in the morning police and K-9 received a report of a vehicle fire on Bronx Avenue. K-9 tracked the arsonist, who had fled on foot and while tracking him they discovered a second vehicle that had been broken into as well as a bike that had been stolen from a garage.

Police found him with the bicycle and arrested him.

The 17-year-old youth has been charged with arson causing damage and break and enter. He is being held in custody.
