WINNIPEG – A 2-year-old girl died after being hit by a vehicle in her driveway Sunday night in the RM of La Broquerie.

Emergency Medical Services personnel provided medical assistance to a 2-year-old girl who was taken to hospital where she died from her injuries.

Police said the initial investigation has determined that the child was struck by a vehicle on her driveway being driven by a 62-year-old man.

Mounties said alcohol and speed are not considered factors in this collision and the investigation is ongoing.
