27 Year-Old Man Victim of Afternoon Armed Car-Jacking

WINNIPEG – A 27 year-old man was car-jacked at gunpoint in the middle of the afternoon at Cumberland and Furby Street.

The victim was driving his car with a female acquaintance when he stopped to pick up a man that was unknown to him. When the man got inside he pulled out a gun and ordered the victim to get out of the car. The man and the female passenger then took off in the car.

Police located the stolen vehicle later that night and found the man and woman exiting the car. The keys to the stolen vehicle were on the woman and the man had 3 grams of methamphetamine on him.

32 year-old Jessica Deborah Fontaine has been charged with Armed Robbery Using a Firearm.

38 year-old Aaron Stewart Mousseau has been charged with:

Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

Fail to Comply with Conditions of Recognizance

Both were detained in custody.
