3 Deaths, 222 Cases

WINNIPEG – The province is reporting three deaths today from COVID-19, two of them in Winnipeg.

There are 222 new cases of the virus, including 61 in Winnipeg. Cases in the north continue to spike with 116 today.

3,521 cases are active, 24,377 people have recovered, for a total of 28,697 cases so far.

272 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 36 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10.6 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 6.4. 1,956 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 465,040 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 799.
