WINNIPEG – Manitoba Hydro would like your helping naming a trio of tiny tree frogs discovered at the new Keeyask Generating Station.
It’s believed they were hibernating in equipment that was brought inside the powerhouse.
After consulting with a wildlife biologist, the frogs are being fed and kept in a fridge to try and get them hibernating again.
The plan is to release the frogs back into the wild in the spring.
Now accepting name suggestions for the Keeyask frogs (please don’t say Kermit)! Read about why we found frogs and how we care for them here: https://t.co/Wqrox0Kvaz pic.twitter.com/gA3YiEmy4b
