37 Year-Old Man Drowns in St. Andrews Gravel Pits

ST. ANDREWS – The body of a 37 year-old man from St. Andrew was discovered in the water at a quarry in the RM of St. Andrew on June 24.

The man was reported missing at about 5:15 pm when he was swimming with a group of people in the gravel pits. RCMP search and rescue along with local emergency services and community members searched the area.

At 10:15 pm, searchers located his body in the water.

He was pronounced deceased on scene.

An autopsy is scheduled.
