4 Deaths, 167 Cases

WINNIPEG – The province is reporting four deaths today from COVID-19, all of them in Winnipeg.

There are 167 new cases of the virus (yesterday and today), including 51 in Winnipeg and 93 in the north.

1,625 cases are active, 28,432 people have recovered, for a total of 30,932 cases so far.

230 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 26 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 5.9 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 4.5. 1,390 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 503,523 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 875.
