WINNIPEG – The province is reporting four deaths today from COVID-19, three of them in Winnipeg.

There are 82 new cases of the virus, including 36 in Winnipeg.

3,309 cases are active, 26,007 people have recovered, for a total of 30,158 cases so far.

259 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 40 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 6.1per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 3.8. 1,529 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 488,064 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 842.
