WINNIPEG – Winnipeg Police are looking for the driver of a van that struck a four-year-old pedestrian on Wednesday night.

Police say the four-year-old child was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The driver briefly stopped, but then fled the scene of the collision. Police located the van, abandoned, a short distance away. The driver has not been located.
