WINNIPEG – The province is reporting five deaths today from COVID-19, two of them in Winnipeg.

There are 113 new cases of the virus, including 33 in Winnipeg. Cases in the north continue to be high with 58 today.

3,542 cases are active, 24,464 people have recovered, for a total of 28,810 cases so far.

272 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 30 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10.8 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 6.8. 1,595 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 466,635 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 804.
