WINNIPEG – The province is reporting five deaths today from COVID-19, all of them in Winnipeg. One of the dead is a woman in her 30’s.
There are also 118 new cases of the virus, including 80 in Winnipeg. Still no sign of the mutant coronavirus in Manitoba.
4,423 cases are active, 20,133 people have recovered, for a total of 25,244 cases so far.
340 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 41 of them in the ICU.
The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10.7 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 11.8. 1,275 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 427,476 since the pandemic began.
The death toll now sits at 688.
