WINNIPEG – The province is reporting five deaths today from COVID-19, four of them in Winnipeg.

There are 94 new cases of the virus, including 41 in Winnipeg.

3,492 cases are active, 24,601 people have recovered, for a total of 28,902 cases so far.

270 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 32 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10.3 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 6.4. 1,118 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 467,785 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 809.
