5 Year-Old Child Killed in South-Winnipeg Collision

WINNIPEG – A five year-old child has died as a result of a two vehicle collision that occurred yesterday on Dalhousie Drive.

Three children were taken to hospital: a 1 year-old and a 4 year-old in stable condition and the 5 year-old who was in critical condition. The 5 year-old has since succumbed to her injuries.

It is believed that the children had been in a vehicle that was travelling westbound on Dalhousie Drive at which time it collided with an eastbound vehicle.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Traffic Division. Investigators are looking for possible witnesses to this collision. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-7085 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
