BRANDON, MB – Brandon Police arrested a 69-year-old man from Virden for multiple sex related charges in connection with a 15-year-old girl.

Police said on March 28th they launched an investigation after receiving information that a 15-year-old girl was the victim of a sexual assault. Officers learned that an 18-year-old woman from Brandon arranged a sexual liaison between the 15-year-old and an adult male.

The 18-year-old female suspect was arrested and charged for Obtaining Sexual Services for Consideration and Receiving Material Benefit for Sexual Services. Police explained that the 18-year-old woman received financial gain for her role in organizing the arrangement.

Yesterday, police arrested a 69-year-old man from Virden for Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Obtaining Sexual Services for Consideration.
