A 72 year-old man has been charged with possession of child pornography after an online storage and cloud computing service became aware that child sexual abuse imagery was being sent through their service.

The provider notified police and on October 10, police executed a search warrant at the man’s address and seized an electronic device displaying child sexual abuse images.

Gary Anthony Shady of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

– Possession of Child Pornography

He has been detained in custody.
