WINNIPEG – It appears Winnipeg house parties have kept the Police Service busy over the last week.
Early in the morning on February 15, a male and female went to the victim’s residence in the 200 block of Dufferin Street. One got into an argument with an adult male. The co-accused then pulled a firearm and discharged the weapon, injuring the man in the upper body. Both then fled the residence.
Police started an investigation and upon attending to the area, quickly found the two accused and arrested them. At the time of arrest a modified firearm was found along with ammunition for the same firearm.
The victim was taken to hospital and remained there for treatment.
