Alcohol A Factor in Serious Snowmobile Collision

OAKLAND-WAWANESA – A 34 year-old man is in critical condition after two snowmobiles collided in a field east of Highway 340.

The collision occurred on March 9 at 6:30 pm when the 34 year-old driver from the RM of Oakland-Wawanesa was rear-ended by a 46 year-old man from Pleasant Valley.

The 34-year-old man is currently in hospital in critical condition.

The 46-year-old man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the collision.

RCMP continue to investigate.
