Amazon Coming To Town

Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – We didn’t get Amazon H2Q a few years ago but Winnipeg is getting a new Amazon delivery facility.

The company will be opening up shop near the airport which gives the Winnipeg Airports Authority new hope that they will one day be doing much more business with Amazon.

Manitoba economic development minister Ralph Eichler says hundreds of direct and indirect jobs will be created. He says this news is especially good as the province works at restarting the economy in the middle of the second wave of COVID-19.

Amazon says its first delivery centre in the city will speed up deliveries.
