ST-PIERRE-JOLYS – A 52 year-old man from Blumenort lost his life when he lost control of his vehicle yesterday afternoon while attempting to pass another car.

The accident occurred at 4:30 P.M. when the 52 year-old man was travelling on PR 311. He attempted to pass another vehicle and lost control, rolling a number of times in the south ditch. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the collision.
