BRANDON, MB – Brandon Police are investigating a break and enter of a business compound on Douglas Street, arrested a 29-year-old from Alexander, Manitoba for breach of curfew and charged a 17-year-old for drinking underage.
Police received a report on Monday morning, from an employee of a business in the 900 Block of Douglas Street. The employee said a Break and Enter to their compound happened between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on January 26th. Security video shows a male and female enter several vehicles parked inside the compound. Police investigation continues.
This week police were told by a resident from Ashgrove Blvd. that within the past two months his Giant Cruiser bicycle was stolen from the locked garage. Police investigation continues.
February 5th around 10:15 a.m., Police went to a home on Lorne Avenue on an unrelated matter and discovered a 21-year-old man from Brandon who had an outstanding Warrant of Arrest for fail to Comply with a Probation Order.
A 29-year-old man from Alexander, MB was arrested this week for Breach of Undertaking. The man was stopped driving his vehicle during a time he was to obey a curfew condition. The man was arrested and released to attend Court in April.
Shortly after midnight, February 6th, Police arrested a 17-year-old male youth for Consuming Liquor Under 18 years of age after the youth was causing problems in a residence. The youth was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center, to be released when he was sober.
