Brash Liquor Mart Robbery Ends in Arrest

WINNIPEG – Another brash liquor mart robbery ended in the arrest of three suspects last night at around 7:30.

Two men and a woman entered the liquor mart on Pembina Highway and stole a number of bottles of liquor. Before they fled the store, one of the suspects threatened staff by brandishing an unknown item.

Several WPS units responded and the three suspects were located a short time later in the 1100 block of Pembina Hwy. by members of the Tactical Support Team. The same suspect that had threatened staff had to be subdued by the use of a Taser prior to being taken into custody.

30 year-old Douglas Joseph Parisien has been charged with:

– Robbery

– Fail to Comply with Probation Order

22 year-old Neldon Owen has been charged with:

– Robbery

44 year-old Crystal Fontaine has been charged with:

– Robbery

All three accused were detained in custody.
