WINNIPEG – Early Tuesday morning, RCMP caught an 18 year old driver going way too fast on the Trans-Canada Highway, 188 kilometres an hour, near Portage la Prairie because “it’s fun.”
As the Mounties said in their tweet with this photo, it’s also fun walking everywhere in the winter.
The young man must now pay three fines after being ticketed for speeding ($1,202), driving carelessly ($672) and driving while disqualified ($672). That’s a whopping $2,546. That’s some expensive, not to mention dangerous, fun.
