WINNIPEG, MB. – Friends Fundraising for Animal Shelters announced the 1000th spay/neuter surgery of cats and dogs in Manitoba since 2013 and to celebrate they have a month full of events at the Pet Valu Reenders.

Each Saturday volunteers will be at the store to wash and dry dogs, trim nails, hold bake sales, BBQ lunch and ask for donations to keep these clinics operating until they are no longer required and every animal finds a loving home.

On April 21st, Dr Keri and her mobile clinic will be at Pet Valu Reenders for an information session on the importance of spay/neuter for your animals, as well as will be doing Heart Worm Tests and ID Chipping.
