CFL Picks Winnipeg

Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – If there is a CFL season this year, it’ll be played here.

The league has chosen us as the hub city for a shortened CoVid-19 season that would begin in September.

Winnipeg beat out Regina and Calgary for the honor.

CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie says he’s working hard with players and teams to make the season happen.

Blue Bomber president and CEO Wade Miller says health and safety of everyone is most important and games will only be played with the approval of health officials and medical experts.
