Charges in May 31st Collision That Sent Cyclist to Hospital

WINNIPEG, MB – Police have charged a 63-year-old woman in connection with a collision on May 31 at the intersection of Fermor Avenue and St Marys Road. As a result of the collision one of the vehicles involved struck a cyclist on the roadway.

The cyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition. The driver of one of the vehicles involved was transported to hospital in stable condition.

Police said today, a 63-year-old woman has been charged with Drive Dangerous Cause Bodily Harm under the Criminal Code.

The victim has been released from the hospital after extensive treatment.
