Couple Face Charges After Stealing $60,000 Generator from Construction Site

WINNIPEG – Two people were arrested after more than $60,000 in stolen goods was recovered during a search of a home on Vimy Road.

The items, including a $60,000 generator were stolen overnight on November 26 from a construction site on Hamilton Avenue.

The stolen property from the construction site was recovered, along with a piece of equipment that had been taken from an unrelated construction site in May 2017.

51 year-old Ronald Scott Jensen has been charged with:

– Break Enter & Theft – Place

– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

He was detained in custody.

A 43-year-old female of Winnipeg faces charges of:

– Break Enter & Theft – Place

She was released on a Promise to Appear.
