WINNIPEG – Long lines at COVID-19 testing sites should start getting shorter soon.

Premier Brian Pallister promises help in on the way with more sites and longer hours.

He says a big new drive-thru testing site will open in Winnipeg next Tuesday and then another one will start up the following week.

New testing sites are also coming to Brandon, Portage, Winkler and Dauphin.

Pallister also says existing sites will soon be open longer.
