Danielle Bonot-Schmidt MFMHL Player of the Week

WINNIPEG, MB. – The second half of the Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League is underway and the first player of the week in the New Year is Danielle Bonot-Schmidt.

Danielle, the Winnipeg Avros goaltender, is a grade 12 student from Winnipeg. She picked up three shutout wins for the Avros this week leading her team to 1-0 and 2-0 wins over defending league champs Pembina Valley as well as a 4-0 win over Interlake. Bonot-Schmidt is technically strong and calm in the net with a GAA of 1.47 while sporting a save percentage of 0.92 and leading the MFMHL with 12 wins vs. 3 losses.

Bonot-Schmidt has committed to attend school and play hockey for the University of Calgary Dinos in the fall of 2018.
