WINNIPEG – The province says doctors who contract COVID-19 or have to take time off work to isolate will be paid.

Physicians can now apply for compensation for up to 10 days at a time, retroactive to September 28th.

Almost 30 doctors have tested positive for coronavirus so far and others have had to isolate as a precaution.

This new compensation was announced in partnership with Doctors Manitoba.
