GOD’S LAKE – A two year-old child was killed by dogs yesterday in God’s Lake.

RCMP responded to a call that the child hd been attacked by dogs in the community. When they arrived they found the child a short distance from his home with life-threatening injuries. It is believed that the child wandered away from his home when he was attacked by several dogs.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

As officers conducted their investigation on scene, members of the community entered the forest and were forced to shoot several dogs that were seen returning to the area.
