WINNIPEG – Police handed out a very big ticket on the weekend.

A driver, with just a learner’s permit, was caught going 162 kilometres an hour in an 80 zone on Chief Peguis Trail on Sunday.

The guy may be new at driving but he’s already got a $1,223 fine to pay for going way too fast.
