Drug Trafficker Arrested with Almost $10,000 of Meth

WINNIPEG – A 28 year-old Winnipeg man has been charged with drug trafficking after police found drug paraphernalia when they went to pick him up on an outstanding warrant.

When police arrived at the apartment on Cumberland to arrest him, they found him sitting with drugs and a scale. When he was searched they found an additional 17 grams of methamphetamine, a small scale, two baggies containing 84 grams of methamphetamine and cash.

After additional signs of drug trafficking were observed in the apartment, officers applied for a search warrant and found:

Approximately 126 grams of methamphetamine

A large quantity of dime bags

Two drug scales

Two cell phones

Dime bag containing cocaine

The total street value of methamphetamine seized is approximately $9,850.00.

28 year-old Robert Taylor Henderson has been charged with Possession of a Scheduled Substance, Methamphetamine, for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possess Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.

He has been detained at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
