WINNIPEG, MB – Two inmates that had escaped form Stony Mountain prison on the weekend have been captured in Winnipeg.

RCMP are reporting that yesterday in the early morning hours, Winnipeg Police received information that the two missing inmates were believed to be in the Osborne area of the city.

Police followed the lead and located the two men who were arrested without incident.

William Hunter-Garrioch and Dale Gilchrist will be remanded into custody on charges of Being Unlawfully at Large and returned to Stony Mountain Institution.
