Even Tougher Roussin Rules?

Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – Dr. Brent Roussin is hinting at more changes to his COVID-19 public health orders.

Manitoba’s chief public health officer indicates the rules could be tightened again, lowering the gathering size and forcing more stores to close. He also says he can’t understand why some stores are advertising Black Friday sales during a pandemic when people should be staying home.

Roussin is also considering extending the Christmas break by a couple weeks so students aren’t returning to school right after possible holiday celebrations.

The province’s per-capita infection rate continues to be the highest in the country and it’s not even close.
