MANITOBA – Grand Rapids RCMP are investigating a vehicle pedestrian accident that resulted in the death of a 29 year-old man.

Police say that the man was walking in the middle of the road on Highway 6 North of Devil’s Lake when he was struck by a semi-trailer. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

It is believed that the driver of the semi-trailer, a 61-year-old male, was travelling south on Highway 6, when he was unable to avoid the pedestrian and collided with him.
