Gang-Related Arrest Made on Furby

WINNIPEG – An attempt to arrest one suspect leads to the arrest of another and seizure of crack cocaine and gang paraphernalia.

On November 25th police went to an apartment on Furby Avenue in an attempt to arrest a suspect. Once there, a search of a different man resulted in the seizure drugs and other gang-related items.

Police obtained a search warrant and found a number of guns including 2-12 gauge sawed off shotguns and a sawed-off 9mm carbine rifle with a loaded magazine.

It is believed that this arrest and the seized items are related to gang activity in the city.

25 year-old Daniel Ryan Bouvier of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, has been charged with possession of cocaine and multiple weapons charges.

He was detained in custody.
