WINNIPEG – Two men were attacked with a hammer yesterday afternoon near the Millennium Library. Both were rushed to hospital with severe head injuries. Police flooded the downtown and a couple hours later located the suspect. 28 year old Eric Michael Robert Oksasikewiyin was arrested. He faces several charges. The victims remain in hospital in stable condition. The assaults were unprovoked and neither victim knew their attacker.
