WINNIPEG – Good news on the flood front. The Red River has crested in the lower range predicted by the province. And thanks to an earthen ramp at the north end of Morris, Highway 75 is expected to stay open. Infrastructure Minister Ron Schuler says the substantial runoff in the Red basin will remain at the lower end of their forecast. He points out the weather has co-operated with cooler temperature and no major spring storms are expected in the weeks ahead.
