BLUE HILLS – RCMP are investigating possible human remains that were located by a hunter in a wooded area close to Highway 1A in the RM of Cornwallis.

Officers attended the scene and with the assistance of our Police Dog Service from Brandon and the RCMP Search and Rescue team, more human bones were located in the area.

The investigation of the remains is ongoing with the assistance of the Chief Medical Examiner’s office.
