POWERVIEW – On January 2 just before 6:00 am firefighters in Powerview-PineFalls made a grim discovery after putting out a fire at an old office building near Pine Street.

Once the fire was brought under control and extinguished, firefighters entered the structure and located unidentified human remains. No other injuries were reported.

Powerview RCMP, along with the Office of the Fire Commissioner, continue to investigate.
