WINNIPEG – Two suspects are still at large after police tried to stop a stolen Ford F150 on Main Street just after noon yesterday.
The female driver fishtailed uncontrollably as she tried to speed away and then exited the vehicle along with her two passengers and tried to run away.
The driver was quickly caught but her two passengers got away.
Officers searched the stolen vehicle and located a loaded 12 gauge shotgun and ammunition. The serial number had been tampered with.
26 year-old Deirdre Ann Macdonald of MacGregor, Manitoba has been charged with:
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle
Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 X 2
Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order X 3
Drive suspended/while disqualified
Display a number plate that does not match registration card
Drive Imprudently
She has been detained at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
