WINNIPEG – A suspicious man in a truck, causing a disturbance added to his eventual charges by backing his truck into a police cruiser yesterday morning.
When police arrived at the home on Lavenham Crescent, they parked their vehicle behind the suspect’s truck and activated the siren to get his attention. This prompted the suspect to back his vehicle into the police cruiser.
He was arrested when he got out of his vehicle and a search revealed a slide from an air pistol.
Inside the vehicle, officers located a barrel and firing mechanism for a .50 calibre rifle and various identity documents belonging to other people.
