WINNIPEG – The province has finally hired a director for its COVID-19 immunization clinics.
Kurt Janzen is coming over from Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries where’s he worked for 15 years.
He’s responsible for logistics, hiring, scheduling and payroll but he won’t serve in a clinical role.
Without being critical of Janzen, The opposition NDP wonders why the Conservative government “consistently ignores and devalues the expertise of health care workers in this pandemic.”
The Pallister government has come under fire for not having the position filled months ago before the vaccine rollout began.
