WINNIPEG – Models show CoVid-19 could have been much worse in Manitoba, if not for social distancing and travel restrictions. Without these measures, modelling suggests the province would be dealing with 933 cases right now, instead of the current 273. The models also say our number of cases would have climbed to over 2,000 by the middle of next month, if it weren’t for physical distancing and limits on travel. These numbers come on the same day the provincial government announces a plan to start re-opening things beginning next Monday.
