WINNIPEG – A 48-year-old Winnipeg man was charged with Impaired Driving after hitting a hydro pole and taking off on foot.

Police said on Friday they received a call that reported an older recreational/motorhome-style vehicle strike a hydro pole and a number of people, including a male driver, fled on foot.
