Loss Prevention Officer Struck by Fleeing Car in Robbery

PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE – A loss prevention officer was struck by a fleeing vehicle during a robbery at a business on Sisson Drive as he attempted to stop the suspects.

The incident occurred on December 16th at 5:10 pm. RCMP found the vehicle later that evening and arrested a 26-year-old driver, who was alone in the vehicle. A subsequent investigation led officers to a residence where they found and arrested the other two suspects.

26-year-old Cyril David Beaulieu of Brandon , was arrested and charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident, Theft and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

28-year-old Troy Brendan Beaulieu of Dakota Tipi First Nation, was arrested and charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Theft, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Fail to Comply with conditions x 2 and Resisting Arrest.

29-year-old Holly Janine Mousseau of Portage La Prairie, was arrested and charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Theft and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

All three were remanded in custody and will be appearing in court.

The investigation is ongoing.
