WINNIPEG – A 27 year-old Winnipeg man faces animal cruelty charges after he was seen dragging a dog on the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge. Witnesses also observes him striking the dog and throwing it to the ground.

The young female German Sheppard cross was turned over the Animal Services Agency.

27 year-old Brennan Bird has been charged with:

– Killing or Injuring Other Animals.

– Causing Unnecessary Suffering to an Animal
