WINNIPEG – A woman in her 30’s was stabbed at an apartment on Tuxedo Avenue late last night. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The incident involved a physical dispute between a man and his two sisters. He grabbed a knife and when one of his sisters tried to intervene, he pushed her away and her hand was injured requiring medical treatment. The other sister was stabbed twice in the upper body before the man fled.

He later returned to the apartment and was placed under arrest.

20 year-old Ryan Sinclair has been charged with Attempted Murder, Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon.

He was detained in custody.
